On THE FUSION TAPES, guitarist/composer Pete Prown (Oval Planet, Guitar Garden, Sir Clive & the Raging Cartographers) pays homage to his fusion roots, with help from his gifted musical friends.

On this mini-album, you will hear echoes of Weather Report, Jan Hammer, Santana, Return to Forever, Herbie Hancock, and more in this collection of jazz-rock instrumentals. One special guest is bassist Jerry King (Cloud Over Jupiter), whom Prown has collaborated with many times over the years. Another highlight is the 100% live-in-the-studio “Carlos on Novacaine," featuring Len Miller, Ron Schindlinger, and Jeff Gordon.
